What if we came together to celebrate all forms of art? Our different neurodivergent brains, approaches, and talents? That’s what Blotto is all about: creating a series of events that spark curiosity toward all kinds of artistic expression.
The creator of the series, Wataru Yoshimoto, brought together different chefs, DJs, and artists in a unique setting where people could truly feel comfortable and enjoy the event. WAHFL (We are here for life, 2024) is a reflection for the celebration of living. Doesn’t matter the differences: we all deserve celebration.
Liisa Addi is especially mindful of venues, ensuring that neurodivergent individuals wouldn’t become overstimulated. Art is more available to people, when the environments are welcoming and understanding of their needs. She has realised, that if environments are neurodivergent friendly, that also makes the environment better for everybody else, too.
This event was the first time Liisa Addi showcased “The Black Sheep” series. And not only that: she also created a live painting during the event, which later became part of the exhibition at the Victoria Olt Gallery.
Visitors had a unique opportunity to meet and talk with the artist and ask about her creative process. They could also lounge around and enjoy watching the painting unfold over several hours, offering a truly immersive experience.
