About me
Liisa Addi is an Estonian artist who has been involved with art her entire life. From a young age, she was engaged in illustration and won awards for her unique style. Upon reaching adulthood, she began tattooing and, within just a few years, earned international recognition for her original style and use of color. Alongside this, she developed an increasing interest in painting, sculpture, and psychology.
After being diagnosed with autism and ADHD at the age of 30, she realized she had something to share with a much wider audience. She began creating artworks, events and discussion evenings aimed at inspiring people to be themselves: in the most creative sense of that idea.
Through her journey of self-discovery, Liisa came to understand that neurodivergent diagnoses need much more attention in society, especially for women. Only in recent years has science started to pay more attention to how women express their symptoms — and there is still a long road ahead. Liisa Addi believes that art serves as a bridge between society’s concerns and people’s natural curiosity. As an artist, her role is to reflect the issues within society and spark discussions on how we can better support one another.
